DIGITAL DATA PIN
All JELD-WEN Certifire fire doorsets come equipped with an embedded digital data pin. Each pin features an NFC (Near Field Communication) tag, that can be scanned to access a full list of details regarding that particular doorset. Connected to a secure cloud database, they store vital information such as door type, glazing details, ironmongery list, installation records, maintenance history, inspection dates, and compliance certificates. These pins ensure each door is uniquely identifiable and traceable throughout its lifecycle.
installation and maintenance
Glazed fire doors should be installed by a qualified and experienced installer, ideally qualified within one of the industry’s leading schemes such as the Fire Door Inspection Scheme (FDIS). Even the highest-performing, fully certified fire door will fail if it is incorrectly installed.
To support installers, JELD-WEN provide a range of installation advice for our products, including documentation and tutorial videos.
