Fire Resistant Doors

Internal Fire Doors

JELD-WEN provide an extensive range of glazed and unglazed FD30 & FD60 fire rated doors for commercial and domestic projects

At JELD-WEN UK, we provide third-party certified fire-rated doorsets engineered to meet your project's safety and design needs. We manufacture and supply an extensive collection, including single and double doorsets as well as single door slabs. In the UK, a fire rating is identified using 'FD' followed by the minimum number of minutes the door is certified to perform. For example, an FD30 rating provides at least 30 minutes of fire resistance, while an FD60 rating provides a minimum of 60 minutes.

We place the utmost importance on the independent, third-party testing of our fire rated doors and doorsets. Testing by accredited third party organisations ensure our projects are objectively verified to preform as stated. By committing to these comprehensive evaluations, we offer peace of mind to our customers that our fire doors meet the established UK safety standards.

Our commitment to rigorous testing is evidenced through our extensive certification library, which available to download from our documentation centre.

The future of fire door safety

Traditionally, ensuring the ongoing safety and compliance of fire doors once installed has been a cumbersome and often error-prone process. That's why we've invested in digital door data pins across our Certifire fire rated doorsets.

The digital door data pins provides:

  • Quick and easy access to important information about each doorset
  • A dedicated app for streamlined documentation processes
  • Supports the golden thread principle and fire safety

Fitting and installing fire doors

Although they are not any more difficult to install than a standard door, we always recommend using a professional to install any fire door, to ensure they are installed in accordance with our fitting instructions and certification data sheet.

We have created easy to follow video tutorials to guide the installation of our internal doorsets.
