Triple Glazed Windows
Achieving a whole product U-Value of 0.8w/m2K and window energy rating of A+, our JELD-WEN Triple Glazed Windows can offer you a warmer, more energy-efficient home. By simply adding an additional pane of glass, Triple Glazed Windows reduce the noise transmission from the outside world, into your home. Our windows achieve an acoustic STC rating of up to 40 Decibels (db).
Every one of our Triple Glazed Windows are manufactured with an elegant, softwood timber frame and premium Pilkington glass.
What is Triple Glazing?
Triple Glazing is the latest innovation in window insulation as it includes not two, but three panes of glass – each separated by either argon gas, xenon or krypton. As well as reflecting more heat back into your property, Triple Glazed Windows also help by reducing your heating bills.
How does it work?
The pockets of gas in-between each pane of glass is too small to allow air to circulate. This means it prevents heat transfer by convection in the window. And because argon gas is a poor conductor, it reduces the rate of heat loss through the window, eliminating energy wastage.
With the cost of energy prices constantly on the rise, it’s no surprise that upgrading to triple glazed windows can help improve your home’s energy efficiency.
