JELD-WEN Releases New Stairs Catalogue

JELD-WEN, one of the UK's leading stair manufacturers, has revealed a comprehensive new catalogue featuring a number of exciting new contemporary designs in materials including glass, nickel and white oak.

The user-friendly 60 page brochure contains all JELD-WEN's popular styles of timber stairs from its new Prestige, Contemporary and Traditional ranges.

New for 2012 is the Scala staircase, which comes with stylish brushed nickel spindles, which complement its attractive white oak handrail and baserail.

Also perfectly suited to contemporary homes is the real glass Radiance staircase, which has glass panels with matching white oak handrail and baserails.  This design adds a sophisticated feel and reflects natural light within a property.

JELD-WEN has also extended its Contemporary range with the Ashford spindle in a white oak and primed option.  This modern design of spindle is perfect for buyers looking for something less traditional to enhance their home.

Phil Chimento, General Manager for JELD-WEN Stairs, said: "Our user-friendly and highly visual catalogue has made it even simpler to select the right staircase for any property. We have added some exciting new contemporary designs this year to reflect the market trend towards the use of oak and nickel. There are such a wide range of styles to choose from within our range and this is backed up by full technical support from survey right through to installation to make sure customers benefit from a hassle-free service."

Also new this year to meet demand for loft conversions are the innovative space saver modular stairs.   Access to a loft bedroom or living area has never been easier with these sturdy beech stairs, which maximise safety with their double handrails and anti-slip treads.  The space saver modular stairs fit into a width of just 133cm and are supplied in flat-pack format, so they can easily be installed by a builder or loft conversion fitter.

The catalogue also demonstrates JELD-WEN's one call solves it all  approach - which aims to make buying stairs as simple and straightforward as possible.  JELD-WEN's stairs technicians visit site and carry out a free survey, providing an instant estimate and free technical advice and support.  As part of the service, customers are guaranteed that their stairs will meet all relevant Building Regulations and JELD-WEN takes full responsibility for measurements taken and the overall specification of the staircase.

To provide further reassurance and peace of mind, all JELD-WEN's stairs are independently certified by the British Woodworking Federation (BWF). Every JELD-WEN staircase displays the BWF badge and records of each staircase are retained for 10 years, giving customers the assurance of quality and compliance.

In addition, the new catalogue contains technical diagrams and dimensions for the top 20 most popular stair layouts to assist customers even further in the planning stage of the new look for their home.
