NEW INTERNAL DOORSETS BROCHURE RELEASED

JELD-WEN has released a new guide to internal doorsets, which has been specifically designed for specifiers and housebuilders.
The brochure contains all JELD-WEN’s Readyfit™ and Securefit internal doorsets, which are available to meet a wide range of acoustic, fire and security requirements.
Chris Miller, Product Manager at JELD-WEN, explains: “Doorsets are popular for new builds and refurbishments, as they are much quicker and easier to install. This new guide to internal doorsets covers our comprehensive range and the wide choice of options available within it. We responded to demand from housebuilders and local authority specifiers with this brochure, to make selection of the correct internal doorset easier than ever.”
All JELD-WEN’s doorsets come supplied fully assembled, with ironmongery, door lining, architrave and doorstops. There are also fire door options available, including an FD30 fire door with the intumescent strip pre-fitted within the door frame. The brochure demonstrates the options available in a range of popular real wood veneers, including ash, oak and beech.
The SecureFit flat entrance doorsets have the advantage of being pre-hung in a frame, with intumescent strip and acoustic seal. They have a drop-down seal for further reduction in sound transmission. Available as FD30 and FD60 versions, these doorsets are acoustically improved, which means they exceed the requirements of Approved Document E of Building Regulations.
JELD-WEN’s SecureFit doorsets meet PAS23 – 24 enhanced security requirements and Secured by Design accreditation, which is the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) approved standard for doorsets that offer greater protection against intruder attack.
Chris Miller said: “Many social housing providers are looking to upgrade their internal doorsets to enhanced fire safety and security for residents. All these doorsets come in an easy-to-fit format, with handles, lock and keep supplied, minimising installation time. Our internal doorsets are backed up by a quality service, with delivery of product to meet customer requirements. This ensures the door and frame remain in premium condition, avoiding any unnecessary damage or need for customers to store the doors on site.”
