JELD-WEN Extends Its Popular Castle Composite Exterior Doorset Range

JELD-WEN, the UK’s leading manufacturer of timber doors, windows, and stairs, has extended its popular Castle Composite exterior doorset range, to provide merchant customers with even greater choice.

The latest additions to the range include nine new traditional and contemporary door designs and FD30 fire doorset options, to provide a product solution for every project requirement.

Made from high impact resistant glass reinforced plastic (GRP) with a woodgrain finish, the Castle Composite range gives the look and appeal of real wood. The thermoset manufacturing process also means that the panels will not expand or contract with changing temperature, which ensures long lasting performance and endurance. These high performance doorsets are also extremely energy efficient, reaching U values as low as 1.0W/m2K for the whole doorset.

The full range offers panel and glazed options to suit both front and back doors, and is available in a choice of seven exterior colours with white on the interior. Each doorset is also fitted with a high quality ERA Vectis multi-point locking system to offer additional security and peace of mind.

Tony Pell, Senior Product Manager at JELD-WEN, said: “Our new additions to the Castle Composite doorset range achieve the perfect balance between style and performance, and help merchants to easily cater for a wide range of project requirements and aesthetic tastes without compromise.

“With lots of options to choose from, including 30 minute fire resistant doorsets too, we’ve now got the complete package. When required, we’re also able to provide these doorsets with PAS 24 specification to meet the requirements of Approved Document Q and Secured by Design, making them the ideal choice for a new build project.”
