JELD-WEN, the UK’s leading manufacturer of timber doors, windows, and stairs, has extended its popular Castle Composite door range to include fire resistant doorsets that deliver a perfect balance between looks and performance.
Available in JELD-WEN’s standard and made to measure composite door sizes and popular styles, the new 30 minute fire resistant (FD30) doorsets are available in nine different designs and seven colour options, complete with a multi-point thumbturn locking system.
Made from high impact resistant glass reinforced plastic, the Castle Composite doorsets are not only strong and sturdy, but they won’t splinter, dent, or rust whilst offering outstanding thermal efficiency. Plus, they maintain the appeal of timber due a realistic wood grain effect with a finish that won’t fade, discolour, or need any maintenance beyond cleaning with a damp cloth.
Adrian Wade, Sales Director at JELD-WEN, said: “The new fire resistant doorsets are an extension of our existing range, enabling us to offer the full package with options now available for any project. The fire door option is supplied with a fully finished white frame, including intumescent strips and fire resistant door slabs.
“Where required, we’re also able to provide the doorset PAS 24 tested, making them the ideal choice for a renovation or new build project.”
As a founding member of the BWF-CERTIFIRE Scheme, JELD-WEN offers a wide range of fire resistant doors and doorsets in FD30 and FD60, 30 and 60 minute fire ratings, which undergo rigorous assessments to ensure products are fit for purpose.
